I have found car dealers to be all of a similar mould, generally interested in nothing unless its a sale, and then how to extract even more money out of you. They pay lip service to customer service only.

Sharif and Jim don't fit this description by a long chalk. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience buying my Range Rover through them, from the start, to agreeing a deal, to collection. They could not have provided me with a better service and I wish them every success with their business.

Outstanding Buying Experience
I recently bought my first car from Sharif, a Volkswagen ID.3. From enquiring on Thursday late afternoon to driving away early Friday afternoon, it was just less than 24 hours! Sharif emailed me the most recent service invoice and health check info. He also stayed late on Thursday so I could ask him a few more questions, as it would have been a 300+ mile round trip to view the car.

I queried Sharif about a specific option, and he said it looked like the car had it from the options list on the advert. To be sure, he went to double-check for me. Sharif even got the keys and started the car to confirm, all while staying on the phone. Unprompted, he texted me a photo showing the option actively enabled on the display!

Sharif also made sure the vehicle was charged up to 100% for our journey back. He even let us charge our other car when we arrived while we were looking over and test-driving the ID.3. Sharif was very friendly and accommodating throughout the process.

The ID.3 was as described, immaculate and like-new! I absolutely love driving it and am really looking forward to many more miles behind the wheel!

It was an absolute above-and-beyond, outstanding buying experience from Sharif. I could not recommend buying from Safwat more highly, and I would most certainly consider buying from Sharif and Safwat again!

Needle in the haystack positive car buying experience
Jim and Sharif are the opposite of stereotype car salesman: an overall friendly and customer first experience I received. They take pride in their reputation and company, are not pushy nor push finance packages down your throat as part of the sales process, very accommodating and deliver on all promises made so it's just been a great experience. I found Safwat cars on AutoTrader, when looking for a Focus ST3, from out the process I had no problems at all. They kindly held the car for a week with a small deposit, when it came to collective vehicle, it was ready for me to inspect immaculately cleaned inside and out tea, coffee, soft drinks were available. All the staff were friendly and kind.
I was very happy with the service I received and the quality of the car, I would not hesitate to go back there again to purchase another vehicle, I would 100% recommend them to anyone else. Other garages learn a few things from these guys. Amazing job!.

Working abroad, I handled the entire transaction remotely, and Jim Granville was fantastic throughout. His communication was excellent; every question I had was answered promptly and thoroughly via email.

Jim at Safwat cars provided the definition of great customer service. I've had a mix of ok and poor experiences when buying from independent dealers, and vowed I'd only stick to main dealers from now on.
I found my (current) next car on auto trader and made contact as the car presented really well, had full main dealer service history with warranty options. Everything checked out so I took the gamble.
Jim was able to answer all my questions and struck the perfect balance of professional, but also personal, a real person. I paid a deposit arranged a viewing.
I took a day off work and travelled 4 hours on two trains and the London tube network. Jim met me at the station and brought me to their office. After a test drive and a chat, I bought the car there and then.
On the journey home, there was a bit of vibration at motorway speeds, something not noticed on the test drive, I also clocked the steering wheel was slightly offset. I didn't even get the chance to email about this as Jim had already emailed me to ask if I got home fine. I advised of the vibration and wheel alignment and we both agreed that it was probably a lost wheel weight and the tracking.
Jim asked me to book it in and get the garage to bill Safwat cars.
In the end, I paid it myself for ease and Jim arranged the cost to be reimbursed via Safwat. There was no criticism or suggestion it was my problem to solve.
Bottom line, this is a legitimate company, selling good quality cars and I'd most definitely buy from them again.

This must be one of the best AMG SLC 43's anywhere in the UK!
Having searched for one of these vehicles for more than a year. I was beginning to think, I would never find exactly what I wanted and would need to compromise. Then this appeared at Safwat Cars. The car sounded too good to be true (one owner, almost no miles, full dealer service history, great spec, amazing condition +++).
Having viewed the details, images, video and then contacted Sharif and Jim, it appeared this was a rare vehicle and an opportunity not to be missed. The agreed px price (subject to them physically seeing it, was decent and competitive). As I had a significant distance to travel, Sharif agreed to hold the vehicle from sale (for more than a week), for an extremely reasonable £250 fee, which was refundable, if I decided not to purchase it.
On the day, the car was everything they had described and more. My px was quickly assessed and the price agreed honoured (I had been honest about its condition and pointed out a couple of minor issues). The 9 hours of driving that day, was worth every minute (the long drive home was very enjoyable, even around the rammed M25!).
The included FOC 12 month warranty, was comprehensive and with a highly rated company. The 36 month extended warranty option deal (which I purchased) was also very competitive and was in no way pushed by Jim or Sharif.
My car buying experience with Safwat was as good as it gets and I would have no hesitation, recommending them to anybody considering one of their vehicles. Initially I was a little concerned with the distance between us and dealing with a company I had not dealt with before. But don't let that put you off, if you find yourself in the same position.
All I can say is "˜thanks Sharif and Jim', for firstly sourcing this vehicle, agreeing to hold it for me and making the whole transaction a great experience.

Honest. Trustworthy. First class service. Fair, competitive prices
I contacted Sharif approximately one month prior to finally purchasing a 2021 Audi SQ7 from him at the start of February 2025 some 400 miles north up in Scotland. From the very first phone call I knew I could trust him which is absolutely essential when buying a second hand used car without the security of finance or lease regulations from the FCA. I make no apologies when I say I am a salesmen's worst nightmare as I am ruthlessly particular about my cars and will spot any short comings or cover ups where they have tried to penny pinch but still expect you to pay a high purchase price. With that being said not once did Sharif complain or moan about the constant texts back and forth (at least not to my face 🤣). I appraised the car on the Friday and made arrangements to collect the car the following morning staying at a local premier inn. To keep this review transparent and honest I will speak about a couple of issues after I collected the car. Unfortunately I did not see that there was a chip in the windscreen in the drivers view point and a crack in the passenger viewpoint. This is testament to how clean and visually appealing the car was on my arrival. There was also a hairline crack in the rear fog lamp/reverse light housing that could only have been noticeably right up close. I part exchanged my car which unbeknown to me had been leaking oil due to the oil filter having not been fitted properly during a recent service. Sharif rectified this and did not affect the valuation therefore fair is fair and I covered the windscreen excess to have a replacement fitted. Sharif also arranged for a genuine Audi light housing to be sent to my home address at his expense (£150). This will be fitted for next to nothing. I found sharif to be extremely welcoming and very transparent throughout the entire process. His vehicle storage area is relatively small from what I had access to but is absolutely packed with luxury second hand cars all prepared to an extremely high standard from Aston martins to high end Porsches. His office is very welcoming and at no stage throughout the process did I feel pressurised or uncomfortable. He even arranged for my private plate number plate to be fitted to the car on my arrival again at his expense. He is a very trustworthy young man with customer service at the forefront of any business deals that he is involved in. I absolutely love the car and I have the peace of mind that he has sold a car with a full Audi history and this shows in both the performance and the condition of the interior and exterior. Prior to purchasing the vehicle he sent a detailed high quality video where he identified even the smallest of imperfections therefore I have absolutely no doubt that he was unaware of the aforementioned damage. He has a wide range of warranty packages available along with ceramic coating packages. His detailers are first class and prepared my car to an extremely high standard, the orca black paintwork was like glass. I will definitely be a returning customer in years to come and wish his business every success in the future. Thanks again for a seamless transaction.

Came across Safwat Cars while looking for a used Tesla Model 3 Performance.
Initially i had some conversations with Jim about the Tesla and my part ex, he seemed quite helpful on the phone and re-assured me the car was worth travelling from Manchester to view.
Whilst there were some issues with the Tesla, and not all spotted at the time of sale, I believe it's more down to it being a used Tesla than anything.
Although upon having 2 new rear Michelin Tyres fitted the garage pointed out that 3 of the 4 alloys were in fact buckled, common with Tesla and difficult to spot at the time of purchase, it was particularly disappointing, especially as the 4 wheels had been recently re finished in silver and probably could have been rectified at that time by whoever they used.
Overall though I have found the Tesla to be a good car, and I did love the way it was presented by Safwat cars, who certainly know how to photograph a car for sale.
